How to Get What You What

The other night, around sunset, my son asked if he could turn on the Christmas tree lights. Before I had a chance to answer, my daughter turned to him and said, "Can I turn on the lights tonight? You always do it."

My son replied, "Sure." Then his face turned red, his eyes filled with tears and he said, "As long as you smile really big like I do when I turn them on."

I can totally see that conversation happening. Next year you should have two trees.

That made me tear up. So sweet.

and just like that I got a little teary eyed... How sweet!

{clutches heart} My God, the boy has so much love in him.

Too cute...

Oh my... that left me all verklempt. Such a sweet little man.

Adorable. :)

Very sweet. I always enjoy hearing your son's thoughts.

that was super sweet. lately, our two year olds have been kissing each other good night. last night, one of them (kirby, the girl) was crying and her two brothers both one over to her. one was carrying her pacifier and the other had her "blankie." after giving them to her, they both took turns kissing her. it was so sweet! don't you just love pure moments like that?

your son will host a talk show some day book it.

He is so sweet; that's adorable.

Aww.

*sniff* So sweet.

Beautiful. (And just wait--sibling competitions on who can smile the biggest.)

awwwwwwwwww
