Is That A Quarter In Your Pocket?

Today is "Letter Q day" at my son's preschool. For each letter day, he is supposed to bring in an item which starts with that letter, and he decided he would take a quarter...probably like the rest of the class will.

Lately, he's been putting his underwear on backward, so this morning when he was getting dressed for school, I asked him to come closer so I could see if he had put them on correctly.

When he was a few feet away and facing me, I said, "Okay. I can tell you have them on the right way."

He asked, "How do you know? The tag's in the back."

I said, "Well, there's that little...uh...pocket in the front, so I can tell they're not on backward."

He looked down and replied, "Oh! I can put my quarter in there!"

He might as well learn now that no one will want to take his quarter if he puts it in that pocket.

No he didnt! No he didnt! That is ADORABLE.

LOL!!! That is hysterical! Can you imagine him getting to school and "digging" into his "pocket" for his quarter?! I'm sure you would have gotten a note home...LOL!! He's SO funny!

Hey, that's at least better than putting his crayons in there. Having a multi-colored unit is NOT worth the looks a kid gets from having half a pack of crayola next to his junk. I can still remember the looks I got. Hey, it seemed like a good idea at the time...Your son never ceases to amaze me.

I would love to see the teacher's face when he pulls it out for show and tell:)

LOL!!!! Very resourceful!

*lol*

That's one way to use it!!

snorting diet coke is painful :-)

I have a pretty for you at my place.

Oh my gosh! That kid is hysterical!

That's awesome! My kid is one of those slackers who wears his pants too low... I have been known to drop quarters into that money slot. Don't understand why he keeps asking me to stop. =)

That is too good!

It's Q week at my son's school too!

the problem isn't one quarter.

it's when he starts putting rolls there.

or when he starts to make change.

seriously, i'll stop now.

Call it his "quarter porter".

I heart your son. He is a comedic genius.

OMG! i love it. i love your kid. he is the B.E.S.T.!!!!!

LOL! Good story to save for the future when he is grown and has a girlfriend sitting beside him.

Love it!!!! Too cute. Makes sense. Undies have a pocket, I need to put my quarter somewhere....lol

Oh, so that's what that "pocket" is for!

Ah, the things kids say... this was priceless!

Ha! Wait till the quarter slips out...brrrr.

Can I just tell you how nice it is to hear that, not only am I not the only one with a child who consistently puts his underpants on backwards (Prince #2), but also thinks that it is a handy-dandy pocket made for his convenience?

tee hee...between this story and the one above it....I am smiling...thank you!
Have a great day!

That's what those pockets are for!

Hee hee. Isn't that where men keep their money too??
