N.Y. See

I got to New York less than 18 hours ago, but have already seen so much. Let's take a tour, shall we?

There are a lot of people.

There are people bathing in public. (See him down at the bottom? I didn't get close enough to see if he had any pants on. My guess? Probably not.)

There is old.

There is new.

There are tons of buildings.

And, there is an empty space in the sky where buildings used to be.

Overall, I like it here. It's hot, busy, smelly, crowded and you have to wash your feet a lot, but it's alive. Everywhere. All the time.

-->Glad you're having a good time!

I love NYC. You described in perfectly. I love it all. Would move in a heartbeat. Its alive. All. The. Time. Wait til you get back home. Such a difference!

If you're into pierogies, go to Veselka--144 Second Ave. (Second and 9th) NOM!

Sounds like you're having a blast. Me, I'll stick with the desert or forest...but that's just me.

Jealous!

UP

Hope you all have a great time!

My favorite place in the world. Have a great time!

Thank you for giving us a peek! I'm so excited for you all.

I love that I was there for every single one of those pictures. :)

Wave hi to my sister for me! She says it's like living in a very small town there--the people you interact with on a daily basis totally look out for each other.

... then there are those creepy guys who know a little too much about you and try to win your heart with beer, Street Meat and promises of vacuum cleaners.

It looks amazing. I can only imagine the non-stop activity that you describe. But it's the "smelly" attribute that has me doubting I'll ever visit.

NYC is simply amazing.

Been to NY twice and I LOVE it. Strange for someone from Arkansas. I think it would scare most people I know to death. Anyway, you said it perfectly. NY is alive.

Very accurate description of my town! :) Great pictures!
